Best of Show: Xperi DTS AutoStage Broadcaster Portal Premium

Stations can see where they rank in-market and neighboring markets across dayparts

We are featuring the products that won the Radio World Best of Show Award at the 2026 NAB Show. Winners were chosen by a panel of engineers and RW editorial staff for their innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry. Information about how the program works can be found in a FAQ here.

Xperi is raising its metrics game by adding a premium level to its DTS AutoStage Broadcaster Portal.

“For the first time, radio stations can see exactly where their station ranks in both their market and neighboring markets across various dayparts,” it states.

The portal measures and analyzes listening behavior in more than 9 million vehicles in the United States in 300 markets. Xperi says the sample sizes are 14 times larger than current radio ratings, and 53 times in the biggest markets.

The information comes from daily listening in vehicles; the portal uses machine learning technology to synthesize and analyze data, giving stations detailed results within 24 hours.

Broadcasters can see how their stations perform beyond their core markets, capturing listening in adjacent territories; sales teams can use the info to turn “spillover” listening into incremental revenue.

Capabilities include station market share percentage, overall cume, average time spent listening, latest station ranking/position, daypart activity, top 100 music charts and more, including the number of vehicles listening and market sample sizes, updated daily. Broadcasters can drill down into a station’s data for various parts of the day, across the last week, month and quarter, and download reports.

Pricing is structured for both commercial and non-commercial categories, determined by market size and BIA revenue market ranking.
