Germany’s 2wcom, a maker of satellite receivers and sold in the U.S. under the viaRadio name, has announced an upgrade to the DSR0x family of digital satellite receivers.
The whole family will now ship with Ethernet connectors for data/signal input in the event of a satellite reception failure.
Additionally, the DSR01 has added internal memory. The memory is based on an internally installed professional SD micro card solid-state memory. Current DSR01 owners can have their units retrofitted by the factory.
The memory can act as internal memory for storing failover audio or be programmed for use as local inserts and IDs.
