
Aldena says it is the world’s first FM and DAB+ multiband antenna and it is now on the market.
Following the IBC Show, the Italian antenna manufacturer announced the release of DD022423XY multiband antenna.
It supports both FM broadcasting from 87.5–108 MHz and DAB+ digital radio transmissions from 174–240 MHz.
The antenna is vertically polarized with an omnidirectional pattern. Aldena said it has 4.4 dBd gain in FM broadcast and 5.0 dBd gain in DAB+.
Its VSWR rates at less than or equal to 1.27:1 for FM and less than or equal to 1.15:1 for the DAB+ bands.
Aldena said it is constructed with stainless steel and has full lightning protection.
