Audio equipment manufacturer Apogee Electronics has released a new version of its MiC, a digital microphone for Apple iDevices and Mac.
The
adds 24-bit/96 kHz performance specs while retaining the original’s standard features.
The MiC 96k is a digital condenser cardioid pattern front address microphone. The A/D converter is contained within the body to maintain digital purity. There is a level control and level LEDs.
It ships with a Lightning cable, 30-pin iOS cable and a Mac USB cable along with a stand adapter and tabletop tripod stand. The Mic 96k is compatible with GarageBand, Logic Pro and Pro Tools software, iOS7 and OSX Mavericks operating systems and iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Mac hardware. Price: $229.
