Photo equipment bag maker Think Tank Photo has expanded into audio equipment bags with a new line called the Multimedia Wired Up Collection.
The line has several sizes of bags with a spread of features between the bags. Useful features include cable ports, loops for holding mics (including a “hot” mic), headphone hooks, snapping cable belts, etc.
Pocket sizes are aimed at popular sizes such as those seen in handheld recorders, wireless mic receivers and transmitters and deep pockets for shotgun microphones.
According to the company, all bags are made of “ballistic” nylon. “Ballistic” seems to be shorthand for durable in the nylon bag biz.
