Burli Adds Podcast Feature to Newsroom System

Burli Software will debut a feature for its electronic newsroom system that podcasts news. Reporters can now export audio items to the Internet as a podcast. Burli also creates podcasts automatically from scheduled newscasts or programs.
The Burli system runs on Windows computers, and allows journalists to manage wire feeds, scripts and rundowns; digitally record and edit radio news reports; plan news assignments; and broadcast news programs.
Reporters can use Burli to connect to their main newsroom, file stories and access desktop editing tools. Mobile networking technology can be used to create virtual newsrooms.
