Inovonics says it has expanded its range of RadioData encoding and decoding equipment, and will discuss radio data applications at the show. The company's encoders now automatically "parse" messages into word blocks and scroll text on the receiver display. Inovonics will show its line of RDS/RBDS products, including the new 713 with TCP/IP network connectivity.
The 713 has the features of the 712 and adds dynamic programming access via a local network or the Internet with its TCP/IP interface. This connectivity permits integration of RDS/RBDS transmissions with the station's other networked functions, including message streams for digital radio and webcasting. Front-panel USB access eases programming of static RDS/RBDS information.
Inovonics is in Booth 509.

Inovonics Debuts BandScanner

Inovonics is introducing its BandScanner, an FM scanning receiver that plugs into the USB port of any PC. Supplied Windows software sweeps the receiver across the FM band, logging every carrier and generating a spectrum display of carrier level vs. frequency. Stations with an RBDS presence may be analyzed in additional detail.
