The Netia Radio-Assist 8 family of digital audio automation software features tools for multimedia production, broadcast and publication workflows.
The company has added a new integrated music scheduling application and new video editing capability from within one user interface.
Radio-Assist audio software programs allow the user to record, edit or prepare a playlist. They include tools for acquisition, sound-file editing, commercial and music production, newsroom systems, scheduling, multicasting and administration. The software also features new browse and publishing tools for multimedia functionality.
The firm says that Radio-Assist 8.1 permits users to leverage built-in music scheduling functionality, such as automating playlist generation according to preset criteria.
The video-editing tool addresses the increasing need for radio broadcasters to provide video via their online portals.
