At CABSAT in Dubai OnAir Medya Communication will showcase its OnAir FT family of FM transmitters featuring an output power of 25 W to 20 kW.
Making use of the latest generation of LDMOS BLF178XR RF transistors, the transmitters promise high RF efficiency and reduce AC power consumption, says the firm. Users can control and monitor all models via the Internet by means of an Ethernet or GPRS modem connection.
With a modular architecture, the FT range of FM transmitters aims to increase performance. In addition, adds the firm, the transmitters use direct digital synthesis (DDS) modulation for improved audio and have a built-in RDS encoder.
