At the recently concluded IBC Show, ENCO unveiled three new features to its SpecAI ad creation tool.
SpecAI integrates voice models, music beds and copywriting logic “that reflect the tone and pacing of real radio ads,” the company said. It was developed in partnership with Benztown and Compass Media Networks.

The first new offering, a speech-to-speech function, allows a SpecAI user to record him or herself reading a script with the desired pacing and tone. SpecAI then processes the voiceover using the chosen synthetic voice, which ENCO said is reminiscent of a traditional studio production experience.
The second feature is called a voice shift, which allows a user to set a voiceover at a specific point in a spot where precise timing and effect are desired.
Finally, SPECAi’s new voice and music interface allows for filtering by category, tags and keywords, which helps users narrow down and find the desired voice or music bed.
ENCO also revealed two additional related SpecAI enhancements in Amsterdam: LeadGenie, a lead generation feature, which allows users to email SpecAI ad examples to current or prospective clients; and InstaSpot, an AI production feature that generates scripts and chooses the best voice and music bed after a user submits a website URL.
The company said that SpecAI is in use at approximately 1,100 radio stations.
