Heading into IBC2022, Nautel has announced an additional model in its new VX Series of FM transmitters.
The line was introduced at the spring NAB Show with 10 levels of total power output from 150 Watts to 5 kW. Now Nautel has added a 6 kW version.
The company expects to begin delivering the 150 W to 2 kW models this year, and the 3 kW to 6 kW models in early 2023.
The company highlights the VX Series for its updated RF power chain, high-voltage FET, dual-core DSP and power supplies that can be swapped out hot, from the front panel. Control is a new HTML5 Advanced User Interface. The rack-mounted transmitters are 20 to 25 inches deep.
