German-based Qbit has been developing audio transport solutions since 1992, when it created the Dialog4 MusicTaxi codec.
Today the company offers a variety of gear to help radio broadcasters streamline the task of audio data transport. These products include audio transcoders for FM and DAB+; audio encoders; audio decoders; audio codecs; audio redundancy switches; and gateways.
Qbit’s IP audio units support most industry standards for network protocols, compression algorithms and management tools, says the firm. Qbit also provides tailor-made solutions, based on customer requirement.
