RFE Broadcast’s compact DS2000 2U rack solution weighs less than 15 kilograms and features linear RF components and advanced software.
Similar to the DS6000, which the company launched last year, the DS2000 offers transmission quality with low consumption and low operating temperatures. The company claims that RF efficiency is “always over 85 percent.”
The DS2000 is fitted with a 3500 W General Electric power supply that is extractable from the front panel along with a replaceable fan and a dust filter that can be easily removed and cleaned.
The unit comes with a set of default options, which include stereo board, RDS board, GSM, analog/digital telemetry, SNMPv1-v2 or v3 version, web control, audio IP system, audio changeover and a backup audio system from a USB key.
In addition, the DS2000 features Maximized Efficiency System (MES); Ultimate Audio Quality (UAQ); and Intelligent Cooling System (ICS).
