Fresh from the NAMM show in Anaheim, Tascam has announced new additions to its TM series of microphones.
At the top are the TM-280 and TM-180 (pictured) large-diaphragm condenser cardioid mics. Each features a 1.33-inch diaphragm along with an 80 Hz high-pass filter and 10 dB pad. Both ship with cases and shockmount.
Also available is the TM-Drums set. The TM-50DB is a dynamic kick drum; the TM-50DS is a snare mic. Both have integrated mounts. Tascam says they are designed to work with the TM-50C small-diaphragm cardioid which can be used on cymbals and hi-hat.
The TM-60 is a small-diaphragm condenser aimed at the entry market. Prices: TM 280 $249.99; TM-180 $149.99; TM-Drums $199.99; TM-60 $59.99
