Vinyl Blowout!

Music school sells ‘surplus’ albums in lots of 100

Like an old-fashioned “cut-out” tent sale in the record store parking lot of days gone by, but with a modern twist, Slapsale.com, an online auctioneer, is selling 100,000 vinyl record albums.

ALL MUST BE SOLD!

The albums come from the collection of University of North Texas College of Music in Denton, Texas (north of the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area). Recognized as one of the nation’s better music schools, UNT is selling the 100,000 “surplus” albums in lots of 100.

ALL LABELS! ALL STYLES! ALL ARTISTS!

The first round of the auction, 10,000 albums, closes on Jan. 21. The “lots” are somewhat unsorted. Buyers are responsible for removing the albums.

ALL SALES FINAL!
