SYDNEY � The Australian radio industry�s RadioApp is now available via Apple�s CarPlay and Google�s Android Auto, allowing consumers to stream more than 250 radio stations while driving, according to bandt.com.au.
The latest version of the free app enables users to view and play radio stations through their car�s infotainment system. Users will also be able to view a list of nearby radio stations based on their location.
�Through RadioApp, listeners can easily discover local stations while traveling, access their favorites list, and control the app safely through their connected car dashboard,� said Commercial Radio Australia CEO Joan Warner, quoted from the same article.� �Consumers today expect freedom and connectivity, and we want to make sure they can listen to their favorite local radio stations however they want and wherever they are.�
RadioApp allows listeners to tune in to commercial, ABC, SBS and DAB+ digital radio stations across the country; the ability to create a favorites list; and the ability to swipe to see what�s playing on other stations.
