MUNICH � More than one-fifth of the population aged 14 or older in Bavaria have at least one DAB + receiver in their household, according to Bavaria 2017, a research project carried out on behalf of the BLM by Kantar TNS MediaResearch. The number of DAB + receivers in Bavaria almost doubled in just two years � in 2015, only 10.2% of Bavarians had at least one digital radio, reports infosat.de.
Bavaria 2017 results also show that 8.5% of Bavarian’s population 14+ use a music streaming service on an average working day; among the 14 to 29-year-olds, 25.6% use music streaming services every day.�The average time spent listening to a streaming service in this age group is 44 minutes.�The average time spend listening to the radio in this same age group is 183 minutes during a workday.
Nearly 83% of Bavaria’s population aged 14 and older used the Internet at least once per week.�In the age group of 14 to 49-year-olds it is almost 97%; the average internet usage over all age groups is currently 125 minutes daily. The 14 to 19-year-olds average 222 minutes per day.
