GeoBroadcast Solutions has chosen SCMS Inc. as the exclusive U.S. and Latin American sales representative for the MaxxCasting System.
GeoBroadcast Solutions and GatesAir (formerly known as Harris) jointly developed the technology.
According to the press release, the MaxxCasting System “optimizes” coverage, which enables broadcasters to “maximize their coverage-to-contour ratio, fully utilizing their FCC spectrum allotment.” The company says this helps to increase revenue by reaching more people and ensuring “maximum PPM decoding.”
GBS Global Sales Vice President Hal Kneller and SCMS President Bob Cauthen jointly made the announcement.
