ENCO Automation Powers Michigan High School Radio Station

DAD radio automation offers feature-rich platform with quick learning curve

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.�Bloomfield Hills High School in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has recently added the ENCO DAD radio automation platform into its radio station�s on-air and production workflow. WBFH(FM) uses the ENCO system to power live production and playout as well as provide a learning tool for students.

The four-studio, 360 W station offers a curriculum-based program for students while also serving as a 24/7 community broadcast outlet. With the DAD system it has the ability to automatically insert segue markers between cuts with the DAD AutoSegue DCL, as well as the ability to add rich detail to playlist files. ENCO integrates with other systems in the station�s workflow, including a PowerGold music scheduling system. Additional features with DAD include remote connection and the ability to automate the triggering and playout of EAS feeds.
