OTS Media Group Plans to Double Downtown Tower Height

South Carolina broadcaster must first seek rezoning in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C.� Our Three Sons Media Group wants to replace its existing 110-foot tower, located on North Confederate Avenue in downtown Rock Hill, S.C., according to a�report in the Rock Hill Herald.�The company plans to build a 199-foot tower with permission from local authorities.�

OTS Media Group owns�WRHI(AM/FM)�and three other stations, in addition to a planned fifth station that will go on the air after the new tower has been built. The downtown tower is used to transmit these stations to four other main towers.�

Rock Hill officials must approve rezoning orders before the plans can be finalized, and the rezoning will ultimately be decided by the City Council.�
