AirKast and Traffic Marketplace have announced a strategic partnership, combining the former’s digital ad campaigns with the latter’s digital media delivery platform.
The effort is designed to offer innovative marketing potential for advertisers, they said.
AirKast says its AirBridge digital media delivery platform provides tools for distribution, measurement, revenue generation and content enhancement of advertising and sponsorship deals. Ad messages can be sent to approximately 900 mobile apps running on iPhones, BlackBerries and Androids, iPads, tablets and connected televisions.
According to a press release, the partnership demonstrates the essential nature of mobile-based advertising by enabling a unique brand of “rich media and sponsorship opportunities,” delivering “technology with a monetization strategy, from day one.”
The announcement was made by Chris Pirrone, general manager of Traffic Marketplace, and Shawn Sires, vice president of sales and marketing for AirKast.
