AP Redesigns Audio Editor

AP Redesigns Audio Editor

Users of AP Radio products now have an updated editor for management of audio clips.
SoundDesk is the audio editing software portion of a two-part software package; the other is the NewsDesk text editor.
The latest version is SoundDesk 4. Stereo waveform editors let the user work on two files simultaneously, using cut-and-paste commands. Audio segments can be dropped from one clip to the other. Other features include playback timer, 10 waveform filters and file operations like fade, normalize, amplify, stretch, chorus and pitch shift.
NewsDesk was updated recently as well; it now offers hot audio links in its wire stories. Users that have access to both text and audio AP services can read the wire story and get any corresponding audio more easily. Info: www.apbroadcast.com.
