Audemat and Burk Enter Agreement on RDS Encoder

Audemat-Aztec and Burk Technology plan to jointly debut the RDS Master, an RDS encoder powered by Audemat’s FMB80 encoder, which features an embedded web server and supports HTTP, TELNET, UDP and TCP protocols for streamlined communication between automation software and configuration. FMB80 also scrolls song titles and artist information on an RBDS receiver using the scrolling PS feature.
The unit will be geared toward the U.S. market, and will be available from most broadcast dealers. Sales, support and repair services are based at Burk Technology’s U.S. facility.
