Customers who buy certain model-year 2013 Audis will get a four-year paid subscription to SiriusXM Traffic.
The offer is extended to vehicles equipped with the Audi navigation/communications system called MMI Navigation Plus or MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch. These systems control the radio as well. (See video of them in action below.)
Audi of America says SiriusXM Traffic will give drivers access to traffic speed and flow information along with accident information to help route them around congested areas.
The automaker will continue to give customers purchasing new Audi vehicles equipped with satellite radio a three-month subscription to SiriusXM’s satellite radio service.
