On March 2, the Copyright Royalty Board issued a ruling that SoundExchange-administered copyright fees for performance rights in the digital transmission of sound recordings are going up retroactive to the beginning of last year.

Court appeals and legal actions are in progress to overturn the decision. Barnabas Road says it decided to provide a forum for questions, ideas and solutions regarding the issue.
