The BBC’s Turkish-language service BBC Turkce has launched a 50-part series of audio interviews called the Archive Room.
Each new episode features interviews with important Turkish figures and will be published on youtube.com/bbcturkce weekly on Thursdays.
Co-produced by Cenk Erdil and presented by Aylin Yazan, the series, which the BBC says, brings to life some of the key interviews broadcast by BBC Turkce radio, launches on Nov. 20, when BBC Turkce marks its 75th anniversary.
The Archive Room project links BBC Turkce’s history with its digital present as BBC Turkce reaches its audiences via bbcturkce.com as well as other channels.
“The Archive Room project on BBC Turkce YouTube channel is part of our effort to create a bespoke digital offering and make it available on the platforms of choice for our audiences,” said BBC Turkce Editor Murat Nisancioglu.
