Broadcast group owner Beasley Broadcast has announced that has finalized acquisition of KVGS(FM) in Las Vegas.
Previously owned by GGB Las Vegas, Beasley had been managing the station for the past few years. In August of 2012 Beasley acquired sister station KOAS(FM) from GGB which it had also been managing.
Beasley Broadcast Group Chairman and CEO, George G. Beasley said: “This purchase finalizes Beasley Broadcast Group’s goal of securing the FM signals of KOAS and KVGS to expand our Las Vegas cluster. We could not be more pleased to own and operate four FM radio stations and one AM station — and air five distinctive brands — in this dynamic market.”
Beasley’s Las Vegas cluster is managed by Vegas veteran Tom Humm, recent recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Nevada Broadcasters Association. The Beasley Las Vegas cluster also includes, KKLZ(FM), KCYE(FM) and KDWN(AM).
