Belkin to Offer XM Accessories

Belkin, a new XM Satellite Radio partner, will cooperate to produce and distribute accessories for XM products. For Belkin, the deal represents a chance to enter a new section of the portable media market. The company specializes in connectivity products for the computer, electronics and mobile consumer.
This fall Belkin will offer accessories for the portable, handheld XM2go radios. Consumers can purchase vehicle kits, home kits, power chargers, antennas and other products that work with XM2go receivers made by Delphi, Pioneer, and Tao.
XM and Belkin also will offer accessories for the upcoming Delphi XM RoadyXT satellite radio and the Audiovox Xpress radio, including a portable, rechargeable battery kit with headphones that works with both radios. Belkin will distribute XM’s boombox for the RoadyXT and Xpress plug and play receivers, to be available at year-end.
