Automation system developer WideOrbit announced the addition of Doug Bertelmann as a regional sales director. Bertelmann will join other regional sales managers in covering the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
Bertelmann most recently was North American sales and marketing manager for DAVID Systems, the German broadcast automation system developer. He also worked for traffic systems vendor CBSI.
Vice President of Sales for WideOrbit Mike Zinsmeister said, “Doug’s depth of experience will help guide radio broadcasters through their available options, helping them to make informed decisions and arriving at the best possible outcomes based on their needs.”
WideOrbit purchased the Google radio automation system last year.
