The fall NAB Radio Show already was going to feature a Republican pollster; now it has added a liberal talker.
Radio and TV commentator Bill Press is scheduled to speak during the Radio Luncheon at the NAB Radio Show on Friday, Sept. 28 in Charlotte, N.C.
The ASCAP-sponsored Radio Luncheon will honor Jerry Lee, independent owner of WBEB(FM), Philadelphia, with the National Radio Award.
The host of “The Bill Press Show: Hardline Liberal Talk With No Apologies” has received several awards for his work, including “Best Commentator of the Year” by Associated Press. For six years, Press was co-host of CNN’s “Crossfire.” He also co-anchored “The Spin Room” on CNN with Tucker Carlson, and “Buchanan and Press” on MSNBC. Currently, he writes a weekly, nationally syndicated newspaper column for Tribune Media Services.
The convention will be keynoted by Republican researcher Dr. Frank Luntz.
