Buckeye Broadcasters Gather Thursday

Informative sessions and manufacturer reps available

This year’s Ohio Broadcast Engineering Conference is scheduled for Thursday, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, Columbus, Ohio.

The one-day event will have sessions and an exhibitors’ showcase. It is presented by the Ohio Association of Broadcasters, Ohio chapters of the SBE and Ohio chapters of SMPTE.

Informative sessions include the opening “Cyber Security and Best Practices for EAS,” along with “Error Mitigation Techniques Used to Move Audio Over IP,” “Keeping Radio Alive When Studio or STL Fails” and “EAS 2014 — The Year of Test, Test, Test!”

Speakers will include Frank Foti of the Telos Alliance, Ted Nahil of GatesAir, Jon Hartmeyer of ENCO Systems, Gary Liebisch of Nautel and Harold Price of Sage Alerting Systems.
