Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Memphis has named Eric Jewell director of sales for the cluster, and Boston’s WBWL(FM) announced that Lance Houston has been named program director, effective early September.
Jewell will oversee all sales operations for the seven-station cluster. He has more than 20 years of experience in the radio and broadcasting industry. He returns to Clear Channel from Entercom Broadcasting in Gainesville, Fla., where he served as director of sales since July 2011. Prior to that he was director of sales for Clear Channel Tallahassee. His previous experience also includes positions at Rocket City Broadcasting, Pamal Broadcasting and Gillen Broadcasting Co.

Lance Houston
Clear Channel Memphis owns and operates KJMS(FM), WHRK(FM), WHAL(FM), WDIA(AM) and is part of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.
In addition to his PD responsibilities, Houston will be the on-air midday host from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
For the past year and a half, Houston has served as the program director at WPOC(FM) in Baltimore. Before that, he spent six years as assistant program director and PM drive personality at WUBL(FM) in Atlanta. Houston began his country music radio career in 1995 at WTXT(FM) in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He has also worked as program director of WBAM(FM) in Montgomery, Ala., and WYGC(FM) in Gainesville, Fla.
Clear Channel Boston owns and operates WXKS(FM), WXKS(AM), WKOX(AM), WJMN(FM), WBWL(FM).
