Cumulus Promotes in San Francisco

DJ Hot Sauce goes to Florence

Cumulus Media has promoted Jeremiah Crowe to program director for KNBR(AM) and KTCT(AM) in San Francisco while Lee Hammer has been named VP of sports play-by-play programming for the San Fran cluster. On the opposite coast, Roderick “DJ Hot Sauce” Grover has been chosen as program director for WYNN(FM)/106.3 in Florence, S.C.

Crowe most recently served as PD of KTCT and assistant PD of KNBR(AM). He was previously at ESPN in Bristol, Conn., and served as the producer of “Mike and Mike in the Morning,” “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” “SportsNation,” “NFL Countdown to Kickoff,” “College Gameday,” “RaceDay” and “Fantasy Focus” on ESPN Radio. Prior to joining Cumulus last year, he was the assistant PD of KGMZ(FM) in San Francisco.

Lee Hammer served as PD of KNBR for the last 12 years and was PD for KTCT for over 19 years. He started his career at KXRX in San Jose as a news editor and talk show producer, and then served KCBS in San Francisco as a news editor for 16 years, before joining KNBR and KTCT. He has also produced and engineered Stanford football and San Francisco Giants baseball, and produced Oakland Raiders football and San Francisco 49ers football.

DJ Hot Sauce was previously Mix Show coordinator and on-air personality for WGCI(FM) in Chicago. Prior to that, he held radio positions in Montgomery, Ala.; Milwaukee; and Shreveport, La.
