Denon Professional says its new DN-C620 CD player is housed in a compact 1 RU enclosure and offers a versatile CD player at a cost-effective price.

The DN-C620 is compatible with standard audio data file formats including CDDA and MP3, allowing up to 20 hours of MP3 or similar audio playback from a CD, CD-R or CD-RW. It is suitable as a continuous audio playback device for broadcast.

Features include intuitive front-panel control, allowing customizable program playlists and output of ID3 or CD-Text title, artist and album information via RS-232C. Additionally, standard 25-pin contact closure (GPIO) and 9-pin RS-232C control connections are included. The RS-232C remote capability allows the DN-C620 to be controlled from third-party systems like AMX and Crestron.

Additional highlights include the user-definable Skip-Back instant replay feature; frame accurate searching; and multiple playback options including Instant Start, Next Track Reserve and End Monitor.

The player will be available Q3 with a U.S. MSRP of $549.99
