Francis Freihuber has been promoted to vice president of the management board at software solutions provider Netia. He will be based at headquarters in Claret and report directly to CEO Philippe Fort. Freihuber has served as the company’s operations director for the past five years.
“Francis has a very strong IT-based engineering background and a wealth of experience working in the broadcast industry, both complemented by an intuitive understanding of our customers and their needs,” said Fort.
As operations director, Freihuber worked to simplify client support and enhance customer satisfaction through a support team with a new hotline and ticketing procedure. As VP, he will continue to supervise the training department and oversee 17 operations personnel.
Freihuber’s other broadcast experience includes leading IT projects, like French election coverage, in addition to research and development, for France Television and its France 3 regional channel. He has a degree from the French engineering school École Privée des Sciences Informatiques.
