Gary Wergin Dies

Services are planned for Monday (Nov. 8) for Gary Wergin, a farm broadcaster at Clear Channel stations WHO and WMT in Iowa.
He was part of “The Big Show,” along with Mark Pearson and Bruce Gaarder, according to the station Web site. “Our ties to eastern Iowa go back a long way. In fact, Gary’s first job as a farm broadcaster was in Dubuque,” the station site states.
According to a local TV report, Wergin was 49 and died of colon cancer.
