Gottlieb to CBS

As part of his gig, he gets in on the ground floor of new radio operation

Doug Gottlieb, formerly of ESPN Radio, has signed on with CBS Sports and will work in a number of CBS Sports venues.

One stop for Gottlieb will be hosting an afternoon show for the new CBS Sports Radio network, debuting Jan. 2, 2013.

He is also expected to appear as a basketball analyst for CBS Sports TV and radio and be a contributor to CBSSports.com.

CBS Radio President and CEO Dan Mason said in the announcement, “With his ability to host both radio and television shows plus his studio and courtside analysis on college basketball, Doug is a triple threat, and the perfect fit across CBS Sports’ many platforms.”

Mason promised the addition of “many prominent personalities” to the CBS Sports Radio lineup.
