Gracenote, the content solutions arm of Nielsen, announced that it is aggregating sports-centric radio, podcast and related content.
The new offering, through Gracenote’s Nexus Auto connected car solution, aims to give consumers access to information through multiple media platforms.
“Today, sports programming is highly fragmented based on rights ownership dispersed across broadcast, satellite and streaming,” a Nielsen release said.

Gracenote said that Nexus Auto now allows OEMs to deliver content from 70 different sports to vehicle owners. This includes helping users find their favorite team’s pre-game, live and postgame broadcasts on terrestrial or streaming platforms.
Nexus Auto also has the ability to project live scores onto a compatible dashboard, along with game results and league standings.
Gracenote also highlighted access to popular podcasts that are both team- and league-themed.
The company said it will demonstrate its metadata delivery capabilities at AutoTech 2025, which takes place June 3–5 in Novi, Mich.
