Help Sought for Employees of AM Station

Premiere Radio Networks asked for help on behalf of five unemployed personnel who had worked at affiliate WTIX(AM) in New Orleans.
“On his radio show, Glenn Beck interviewed Rob Hunter, the OM of Glenn’s affiliate, WTIX/New Orleans,” the Premiere statement said. “The station is off the air and most of the staff is unemployed as a result. Please consider spreading the word about these individuals.”

The FCC database now lists WTIX as “licensed and silent.”
