Ibercom Buys Cemtys

Madrid, Spain-based Ibérica de Componentes S.A. has acquired the production technology of Cemtys S.A.
As a result, Ibercom now offers a full range of FM transmission equipment under the IBC Ibertécnica brand name. The range includes FM transmitters, exciters, encoders, radio links, automatic switching units, and monitoring and control systems.
The Spanish company also announced a large order from Radio Nacional de Espana to install an IBC monitoring and control system at its Madrid studios.
The system would control more than 140 RNE transmission centers and feature trespass, fire and flood alarm capabilities.
