Interep suffered decreased revenue in the quarter ending June 30.
Radio commission revenue dropped 15% to $22.7 million, down from $26.7 million last year. Operating EBITDA dropped to $3.3 million, a fall from $6.9 million in 2000. After-tax cash flow per share and earnings per share also dropped a few cents.
Officials anticipate a rebound when ad spending increases. They particularly project an improvement during the fourth quarter. However, they expect yearly totals will be down 10% from 2000 and that operating EBITDA will be between $15 and $17 million.
