Jampro Antennas Adds Communications Engineer

Fehlig was involved in the development of satellite uplink and video compression technologies

Mark Fehlig has been named the newest member of the Jampro/Alan Dick Sales and Engineering staff, the company announced in a press release.

Fehlig is a communications engineer, who was involved in the development of satellite uplink and video compression technologies at Scientific Atlanta and Harris Corp., where he also contributed to sales, marketing and engineering as a TV district manager. Then he led the transition from analog to digital for both DTV and IBOC FM radio as director of engineering for Georgia Public Broadcasting. He also has had positions at Wavestream and Osborn Engineering.

Fehlig is SBE-certified CPBE and sits on the society’s national board. He is a Life Senior IEEE BTS member, AFCCE full board member, ARRL-VEC and a Registered Professional Engineer with NCEES Council Record. He is also an FCC-licensed Lifetime General and Amateur Extra.

Fehlig earned his bachelor of science in electrical engineering from The Missouri University of Science and Technology, as well as an MBA from Quincy University in Illinois.

“Mark brings to the table both technical and project management experience that will be instrumental in adding value for the active FCC DTV 600 MHz auction and channel repack opportunities for our customers,” said Jampro President Alex Perchevitch in the announcement.

Since 1954, Jampro Antennas Inc. has been a supplier of antennas, combiners and filters and RF components for the broadcast industry.
