Kevin Douglass is heading west.
The veteran engineer, whose credentials include almost 24 years as director of engineering for several broadcasters in San Diego and San Francisco, has taken a post as chief engineer for H. Hawaii Media, and is relocating to the island of Kauai.
The firm has four stations on the air: two FMs on Kauai; one on Maui and an AM on Oahu. Three more are in the works.
Douglass is a former engineering executive with PAR Communications, Jacor, Clear Channel, United Broadcasting and several other organizations.
