KISS Hosts Jingle Ball 2012 Holiday Concert

Event features Calvin Harris, Afrojack and Ed Sheeran, benefits Alliance for Lupus

Seattle’s KISS(FM) unveiled the lineup for its annual holiday concert, Xbox 360 Presents Jingle Ball 2012.The event will take place Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. PST at the WaMu Theater.

Tickets will be sold exclusively to the station’s VIP Club members via Ticketmaster outlets starting Friday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. PST, and fans can register for free to become a 106.1 KISS FM VIP Club Member by visiting the KISS FM website. Tickets will be available for public purchase starting Oct. 27.

The lineup includes Calvin Harris, Afrojack, Ed Sheeran, 3oh!3, Owl City, Alex Clare and Cher Lloyd.

“The increased popularity of electronic music and DJs who have become huge celebrities in our format make us really excited to include them in this year’s amazing lineup,” KISS Program Director Eric Powers said. 

This year’s Jingle Ball will benefit the Alliance for Lupus Research. A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to help find better treatments and a cure for systemic lupus erythematosus (also known as SLE or lupus), an autoimmune disease.
