Lawo’s Crystal MKII console has made the grade to be added the Faculty of Arts’ radio studios at Macquarie University in Sydney.
Paired with the VisTool control and visualization software, the Lawo Cyrstal system with a crystal frame was selected to replace the university’s aging infrastructure.
According to Lawo, Macquarie’s newly refitted studios include an on air studio with a Lawo 12 fader crystal broadcast console, an on air production control room, production booth and digital outside broadcast facility to allow for location broadcasts.
Live broadcasts occur via a broadcast link to a community radio station, which also has studios at the university, allowing for close collaboration.
