Mackie Delivers a Baby HUI

Touch-sensitive surfaces look to be an area of growth for Mackie Designs. The new Baby HUI is touted as the “first high-quality, HUI-compatible, touch-sensitive control surface for less than $800.” Baby HUI is a control surface that supports the HUI/MIDI-mapping protocol, allowing it to work with HUI-supported DAWs on PC or Macintosh platforms including Mackie Soundscape 32 and Mixtreme, Digidesign ProTools and Digi 001, MOTU Digital Performer, Steinberg Nuendo, Emagic MicroLogic and others.
