Broadcast business software developer Marketron and broadcast equipment maker and software developer Imagine Communications announced a “strategic partnership” to develop and integrate TV and radio ad sales, traffic, scheduling and automation software for their clients. Imagine Communications is a spinoff of the former Harris company.
A release said, “customers will benefit from the capabilities of both companies including modules for reporting, revenue and spot data from Marketron’s open Mediascape platform, as well as scalability and advanced features from Imagine Communications’ Landmark suite of enterprise business applications.”
In addition, the agreement covers “ad sales, campaign traffic and scheduling enterprise tools to encompass automation, playout, mobility, cloud and data analytics …” for a crossmedia platform.
Marketron President and CEO Jeff Haley said, “This integration enables our customers to easily run their cross-media business from Marketron’s Mediascape platform, a single, end-to-end, integrated platform, enabling streamlined, efficient business operations.”
