Marketron Lays Out NAB Plans

Company will highlight tools for selling radio’s digital options

Marketron laid out its plans for the upcoming NAB Show.

Its executives will participate in several sessions in support of radio sales models. “As digital sales have become a more significant part of advertising revenue for radio companies, the company has followed this evolution by delivering a built-for-radio digital sales platform, Marketron NXT, and providing a track for radio to become experts at selling digital advertising as a complement to airtime spots,” it said in an announcement.

Marketron will host a roundtable discussion, “The Secret to Radio’s Digital Ad Success Is Being Local First,” at the Small and Medium Market Radio Forum, led by its Senior Director of Digital Strategy Dustin Wilson.

Wilson will also be a panelist for the session “The Local Advertising Buying Landscape: What Are Clients Buying, and How Are Radio Sellers Succeeding or Missing Out?”

Marketron will present a Radio Roundtable session, “What Makes Digital Sales Training Successful for Radio?” with Senior Client Onboarding and Development Manager Travis Cartier. Among other things he will discuss the company’s NXT Wave program for digital sellers.

And the company will meet with clients via scheduled meetings, which can be booked here
