The U.S.-based National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is returning to Athens for the 2009 NAB European Radio Conference. The event will be held Oct. 25–27 at the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel in downtown Athens.
The conference is focusing exclusively on radio, looking at the possibilities and probabilities for the medium and ways to operate in less than favorable economic times. New technologies and platforms, including interactivity options, that enhance program quality and listener appreciation are on the agenda.
The conference is held with the support of Association Européene des Radios (AER) and ?????, the Association of Private Radio Stations in Athens.
The NAB European Radio Conference was last held in Athens in 2005.
