The industry’s lobbying group has promoted one of its own.
Andrew Reinsdorf, director of government relations at the NAB, has been promoted to vice president of House government relations.
He has represented the industry on issues including the fight over low-power FM and the Satellite Home Viewer Improvement Act. He reports to Jim May.
NAB also hired Larry Walke as associate general counsel; he comes from Winstar Communications where he was Regulatory Counsel. He is a former senior attorney at the FCC Cable Services and Mass Media Bureaus.
And NAB promoted staff attorney Ann Bobeck to assistant general counsel. She co-authored the NAB Political Broadcast Catechism and has served as liaison to member stations.
